Hi! I'm trying to diagnose this card, the model number is GV-N2060D6-6GD The card had liquid damage sitting on it for quite a while. I have cleaned the residue off and assessed the damage. A pads under filtering capacitors were eaten, i have removed them. One resistor is missing from around the vcore vrm buck controller, which i havent yet replaced. The problem is that the fuse is blown open of the pcie 12v rail. The resistance on the card side is the same as the gpu core. (around 0,4Ohm) Which seems low for core, but i dont know what it should be. Injecting 0,8v into the rail, it consumes around 1,5/2 A, but on the vcore inductors i can measure around half of the voltage that i inject into the 12v rail. After some time the core begins to get warm. What component can short vcore and pcie12v together? Its wierd that they are shorted together, because the card has an 8pin connector, so i think that the vcore must be fed by that. How can i find the shorted component provided that its not the gpu core itself? I couldn't find a schematic or boardview for it yet. Thanks for the help in advance! |
