i've a macbook pro 15 retina middle 2015. the first problem was white screen after some times using it.






]in this case, i did reboot and no problem. after some week, when i had white screen, i did reboot but blue screen o grey screen with apple logo and stuck here






after some weeks it gave me only big vertical white lines with the apple logo. and it froze here

so i have ordered a new bga (216-0846081) and new vga ram

with the new bga, the macbook doesn't turn on at all. if i solder the old bga, the macbook power on with vertical lines. i've tried to solder the new vram with the old bga but same result: vertical lines



i would like to know: is it possible that i should program the macbook for installing the new bga?

if yes? how?

In order to put a new video chip, there is nothing to program.
Also on this board you can put the chip 216-0846000 without any alterations, gpu id it has exactly the same k and 216-0846081.
It is possible that you have a problem in tying the memory modules. Ring all the resistors in the memory strapping.

Need no program new bga. May be remark chip with 64bit adress lines. Reball old chip, maybe no problems with it.

1 step: reballed the gpu: no look, always lines

2 step: installed new gpu: macbook doesnt start

3 step: installed old gpu: macbook start with lines

4 step: installed new vram: still with lines

Most likely the new chip is not working. And instead of 216-0846081 you can install 216-0846000. It is easier to get it.

Check all the resistors near the memory.
Do you have a circuit and a BoardViewer? If yes, then check the resistors R8903, R8953, R8803 and R8853, their break can have a similar effect.
