I have a little brain teaser with this motherboard PROJECT: QUANTA OP8, DA00P8MB6D1 rev. D
Problems at first view:
- turns on, no picture, one or two blinks...

What I did:
- flashing bios (with chip replacement second time)
- replace 2001 chipset. Notebook turns on and show logo, but does not recognize USB device.
Check on U29 - there is no 5VSUS. Replace PQ16 and 5VSUS comes on U29.
USB keyboard recognized, but here it is my problem (and I'm stuck here) - power on notebook->POST OK-> and message for missing serial number, bla, bla, bla appears, when press 'ENTER', notebook freze. I check with usb and internal keyboard. Same result.
Replace U29, replace ISL6265HRTZ-T (PU3), CPU and memory, but with no result.
Check - CPU, GPU, Memory voltages are OK. I see that coils PL8, PL9 and PQ36, PQ37, PQ39, PQ4, PQ42, PQ43 are very hot 3 or 4 minutes after power-on.

Like I said - I'm stuck and I have no other idea what to check/replace.

don't press Enter, see if it restart automatically. but if no, you need to reheat 2001 chipset.

Hi, automatic restart is only after first message for bios something (502 error I think). it doesn't continue by itself when displays another message (for serial number, model, etc). I will try to reflow it, and maybe replace the chipset again.

Reflow didn't help.
