hello friend i have hp motherboard la-b171 problem not show display in screen. but find problem faulty lvds cable and missing 19v supply to screen. not able to find which component pass 19v lvds supply. need lvds supply details and which component pass 19v supply to lvds. thanka in advanced |

Do you have any video on the external display (vga)?, You said that you hav't 19 v on the lvds cable when lvds cable is conect or disconect ? |

It's much easier to figure this out in person than to look at the photos, there is no schematic available. Follow the traces and use your meter, eventually you'll come across the responsible FET or inductor. For a quick test, you can measure the resistance from B+ to the panel connector and from panel power to ground: maybe looking for an open circuit is pointless and something is just dragging the rail down. |
