OMEN HP Laptop +VCCGT problem This OMEN HP Laptop is water damaged. At first it had a short in +VIN rail due to mosfet PQ4007 being short-circuit. After replace PQ4007, laptop start, and fans are spinning, but no lcd image. It drains 1.2 amps from lab psu, and after 20 seconds, it drains only 0.6 amps. +VCCGT voltage is present only half a second, but +VCC_CORE is present that 20 seconds. I cleaned the motherboard with isopropyl alcohol, and there are no sings of corrosion. Nothing is getting warmer, but i suspect PQ4007 killed the cpu. NVVDD and NVVDDS voltage are present since power-on. Can I make any crucial measurement to test the cpu? -------- |
