Hi, please help me with this Toshiba L50-B PSKTNA-02R016 (dablidmb8e0 rev:e) it's simply turn's off in exact 30 minutes (in both OS & Bios)

It has an i5-5200U & AMD Radeon onboard

Tried flashing the bios downloaded from Toshiba here)
Still shutting down in 30m..

Tried replacing the bios chip and flash it with bios.fd file extracted from the same downloaded bios... still the same !

I've heared that this is IME related problem and I should flash a cleaned ME bios file to fix it but I don't know how to clean it..

P.s should i do the pin shorting of HDA_SDO&3.3v on the audio chip before flashing a cleaned bios ?

From bios.fd cut the main bios 8Mb and flash the flash chip on the programmer with it.
At the official site is always clean ME region.
If there is still a shutdown after 30 minutes, you need to replace the i5-5200U.

I did that but it still shutting down after 30m..

I Can't replace the processor because it's intrgrated in the motherboard..

Looks like this problem is very common and caused by a corrupted ME firmware integrated and write protected in the system, it could be fixed after disabling the protection using a pinmod on the audio chip, i can do this pinmod but can't understand the ME firmware modification/repairing steps..

P.s: fpt dos gives error 201.. my chip is cfeon qh64-104hip

Change the processor.
Everything else is nonsense.

I've already said that it's an i5-5200U "BGA" processor wich i can't replace..

I fixed it and it's working fine now, passed 24 hours without any shutdowns..

Here's how i did it:

Step1: Dump original bios from chip.*
Step 2: Download intel ME/TXE injector software.
Step 3: Download the correct Intel ME firmware database.**
Step 4: Run intel ME/TXE injector software, it will ask the first time to locate the path of the downloaded ME firmware database.
Step 5: Click (open bios) and select dumped bios file.
Step 6: Click on (save new bios) button, the software will replace the corrupted ME firmware in the new saved bios file.
Step 7: Flash the saved file using the programmer.

DONE..

* Bios file downloaded from the manufacturer didn't work for me..
** To find your correct ME firmware open the dumped bios in the injector software before loading a downloaded database, it'll show the ME version number (mine was 10.xx.xx)

P.s replacing the bios chip with another type (tried winbond 25q64fv) didn't work for me, it only works with the same exact chip (cfeon qh64-104hip), the winbond started but won't change and save options in the bios..
