Hi everybody.

There is a notebook (VPCCW21FX) (M9A0 Main Board MBX-226 rev1.1) that gets switched on but nothing happens after that. After switching on, all the chips get warm a little bit, fan starts to spin up but noting happens, no lights except Power LED. At first I reballed the GPU and nothing changed. I was Searching on the forum and came across a thread that mentioned to check Pin5 (SI/SIO0) of BIOS IC so I checked it and other pins have voltage but Pin 5 is GND. I'm confused and would appreciate any help to diagnose the problem.

Raise 5 pin at U12 and measure the resistance . Find out which side has a short circuit. From eeprom or from NPCE783LA0DX.

Thanks for the reply. Before proceeding I decided to flash bios and fortunately it worked like a charm. Anyway thanks again for the reply.
