i am new in laptop repairs,and today i have a customer,with a lenovo ideapad z500 LA-9061P, that its not charging,after some test,i found that if i plug the charger the capacitor PC312 its shorting,if i unplug its not shorting,can someone share a boardview file to check this line or some infos if anybody knows about this problem

hello, how can you be sure one capacitor is shorting?

use multimeter and check the resistance to ground on the main power line.

if one capacitator is shorted to ground on main power line , everything will be shorted.
here is schematics, you do not need board view for this one

i found the problem
it was the mosfet PQ301 in the power rail of 20V,after replacing this mosfet the laptop was starting boot without battery,but stil the laptop was geting 20V on the battery connector,this is strange,and it was not charging,after some thinking i replaced the mosfet PQ308,because it was on the same rail with PC312,that was shorting only if connecting the power supply(probably because of the short the mosfet was damaged)
now the laptop works and charge!!!
