Well, laptop came stone dead. DC connector was broken and shorted, and of course main power killed kbc ove adapter ID line. This happens a lot since i did repair at least 20 of these with same issue lately. After changing KBC and DC connector i did reprogram ITE 8586 and main bios(dumps attached) but laptop does not start properly. Power led just blinks constantly. Power draw is about 0,26A at 20v. All power lines are coming UP ok except CPU vcore. There is no CPU enable signal (CPUCORE_ON) comming from KBC. I extracted latest bios from support website(ver BGCN34WW) but it did not solve the problem,changed KBC several times but but it does not help. Any clue on what to do try and check next ? |

Well i did reprogram with that dumps but nothing changed. Very same situation,power leds just blinking,typical charging behavior for this chasis. Anything else ? |
