Hi, have a LENOVO G500 Rev1 that does not post.

It has all voltages and signals ok, but DDR3_DRAMRST# is allwais at low level, and SMB_CLK_S3 & SMB_DATA_S3 are at high level and no pulses.

When power button is pressed, current consumption from psu is 900 mA.

Debug card shows 20h at boot and it's the same with or without ram memory.

Pch-bios and KB9012-bios have been reprogrammed with known good data.

I suspect pch cud be damaged, but I'm not sure.

Should I change pch or there is something to check before that?

Check whenever the RAM slot is damaged, use RAM-slot tester. Replace CPU. Check, does the board react on mechanical deformation. CPU socket might be damaged too, try to press on it.

Hi, I have already tested all you mention and seems those are all ok.

The cpu original is a Core i7-3632QM, and I have tested a Core i7-2630QM. (they are not the same, but on other boards are compatible)

I have tested also heating gpu and pch slightly and test mechanical deformation, but debug card shows the same code.

I have ordered a new pch.
