Hello, I have problem with notebook Aspire 7740G JV70-cp. Laptop starts without pushing power switch (3,3V present on power switch), just after connecting ac adapter (laptop doesn't turn off when power switch pushing). The power consumption is 0,71A - no POST. Someone has been repairing before me, hm55 was reflowed. I have made a reball of hm55, I have reprogrammed bios from acer site, also ec kbc was reprogrammed. All voltages are fine, I substituted CPU, RAM - it is ok. RTC battery is OK. I think that problem is with bios dump, I need dump with Clean Me Region, but I have not enough posts to download. Thank you. |

You don't needed BIOS with clear ME rigth now. Any dump BIOS from this platform is applicable. Try to replace hm55 - not reball. |

Hello, I have changed HM55, but without any positive results. I have looked closely on voltages and there is no correct power supply to CPU. The resistance without CPU was 135[omega][/omega] - a bit low for sure, I desoldered ISL62883 and the resistance raised to 2,96M[[omega][/omega]. I will change the ISL and I will inform about results. Regards. |
