Hello everyone. Laptop a little flooded in KBC area. KBC soldered new (programmed). +3VALWP, +5ALWP, +VL, +3VLP, +3VAWLP_PCH, +5VALWP_PCH - present. S5 enabled, PCH is giving PM_SLP_S5#. Power consumption 0,01A. After switch power button, nothing is happening. ON/OFF correctly getting to 0V when pressed. My worries - PCH_RSMRST# - 0V, so PBTN_OUT# doesn't react and there is 3,3V always. BIOS reprogrammed. There is no communication between PCH <-> BIOS. No oscillograms. Appreciate your help. Thanks. |

Are you sure? I would like to change the Bridge as extremity. PCH_RSMRST# resistance 10k OHM. |

No suspicion of KBC failure? 9012 receiving PM_SLP_S5# from PCH, but doing nothing RSMRST# 0V. On the other hand your theory is right because there is no communication HUB <-> BIOS. Please try to explain me why Power Led doesn't light? |

After rebuild a 3,3V trace, laptop turns on and shut down after few seconds. Stop at 0,78A, no POST. There is no +VGFX_CORE, but +CPU_CORE 1,1V. I changed the BIOS, but still the same. No voltages VCC_AXG_SENSE and VSS_AXG_SENSE. Any ideas? |

It seems that LPC BUS is working - 3,4V, PCI_CLK_LPC - 33MHz, but PLT_RST# - 0V. Any help? |

I had to rebuild some traces (power supply 3,3V for KBC). Then was problem with SYS_PWROK signal. It was shorted to GND. Changing the U1 solved the problem. Thanks for advices. |
