Hi everybody. I have this acer motherboard with a so many time reflowed ATI GPU chip with erased chip number (only 216- part is readable). I have another ATI chip 216-0774007 on hand that I want to swap (if possible) with the mentioned chip. Both the donor and recipient motherboards have 4 Samsung vRAM available as follow Donor : 4xSamsung k4w2g1646b-hc12 (128Mx16) Recipient : 4xSamsung k4w1g1646e-hc12 (64Mx16) also all the capacitors and physical form of both chips are identical. What do you think. If it's not possible can anybody help me find the original chip number on this acer LA-5911P motherboard. Thanks in advance. |

After Porting the BIOS, now it's working. Thanks MSF113 for the chip ID number. |
