ok guys , i have some nasty laptop v5-572g here with dead motherboard
motherboard is shored, when charger is plugged in i get 2.2V instead of 19v
i have taken out resistor PR45 , measured resistance to ground and i got like 240-300ohm on one side. i wanted to test the voltage, but i was stupid and the pu9 controller burned. i have replaced it with the same model
returned pr45 resistor and again i had 2.2v in the board
i have measured on +3.3valw and +5valw mosfets and ive seen that the voltage gets up to 2.2v and then drops to 0 and every 2 seconds it would go up to 2.2v and then dropped.
my thoughts were that the integrated RAM memory 4gb is defect. i have removed coil PL13 but when i plugged in the charger i got full shorted and charger went out, i had to discharge him and return coil pl13 back, then i got 2.2v again.
i have removed pq48 and pq55 but same shit
does anyone have any clue what else to do? what to test, what to remove and test?
problem is that i had acer boards which were all connected via coils ( all power circuits) and i could simply remove coil and detect where the short is.
i do not know what to do here.
please help me couse i want to repair this motherboard and gain knowledge.
i have found this board schematics:
