Hi, need help with flash chip Cfeon en25q64. It is from a MSI MS-16GF1 that has no image and all main voltages are present. I'm trying to program pch-bios but can get quad-spi active. Mi programmer is the well known TL866II with last firmware update. I can read the chip and program it, but when it is in place and boot the laptop, there are no pulses in pin 3 or 7. (SPI_IO2 and SPI_IO3) If I replace Cfeon en25q64 chip by a Winbond W25Q64FV, i can get quad-spi active and have pulses in pin 3 and 7 of this flash chip. The Winbond W25Q64FV semms to work ok, but problem with video is still there. Original chip (U18) is the Cfeon EN25Q64, and datasheet says that it can work in quad-spi mode. Can someone with same or other programmer what can be wrong? This is my third MSI MS-16GF1 with no video that can get it to work, and I'm thinking that could be a bios related problem.
