I have never heard of it until this YT movie.
What I know and it it was widely discussed, some time ago there was a leak of Nvidia internal network data, a hacking group broke into Nvidia's network and stole everything so there were probably private keys for signing/encrypting bios and drivers. Presented YouTube movie is probably based on a software somebody already wrote.
Nvidia chip is like FPGA, configurable and if there is a leaked documentation and source code than someone could discover the possibility of the buss width configuration.
It will be a game changer for faulty controllers with for example 33/64 errors in a channel. Many of them became donors but maybe could be resurrected.
This software probably edits the actual bios and writes it back or some sort of this operation.
Posted after 23 minutes 6 seconds:The PCI subsystem changes, this is strange. Maybe it is the requirement for the card with less memory to work with windows drivers? Or maybe he uses known bios from a card with bank C already disabled so he uses firmware from the similar card but with 8GB.

GPU:1440MHz / MEM:1188MHz
It looks like one of the mobile versions with 1458:xxxx
https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/231 ... 192-201207I may be wrong but each bios may belong to a different card with different disabled bank due to fabrication error. Such bios is suitable maybe for test only but who knows.
