Hello everyone,
So I'm working on a RX580 MSI card and would be nice to have some thoughts about it if anyone had a similar issue before.
There is no MVDD nor VDDCI voltage but there is 1.8v and 0.8v.. applying 1.5v with an external power supply to MVDD the card just works fine. After taking a few measurements at the board, I noticed that the card doesn't allow the 0.8v_PGOOD to rise, and release the EN signal for MVDD PWM and so on.. after changing the 0.8v CI still didn't solved it so after further inspection I noticed that there is a problem with a missing DRAM_RSTA signal, which I just measured in a similar working card, and it's around 0.6v on a base of a transistor (Q1077). Then I noticed that this signal comes straight from the Memory Interface (or memory controller), and couldn't debug it further due to lack of information about the mem interface.
My question is, does this mean I do have an issue with the memory controller or there might be missing some previous signal to the memory controller in order to release the DRAM_RSTA signal? Anyone does have any further information about how this signal is generated by the memory interface? Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

So, after analyzing further on a working card, the RST signal comes only after the beep and the issue is with PX_EN.. I shouldn't have 0.6v at the third pin of the transistor.. i'll now change my thinking line based on this and update if I get any progress
