Hi guys. I have a GT440 that is working without problems as Standard VGA Adapter, no artifacts, no nothing. After installing official nVidia drivers and restarting, a couple of seconds after windows starts loading (splash screen-after loading vga driver) it shows artifacts as if GPU needs reball (blue lines) and driver stops working. To be honest I don't have clue what the problem might be. I will appreciate any info if anybody had a similar problem and has any info.

Tray to boot in fail-safe mode and see if you can select 800x600 resolution,(or 640x480) after that, boot normally and check if it works properly.

Probably, as you mention, GPU or memory chips need reball or are damaged.

Thanks for the reply. Booting into low resolution mode (640x480) has the same effect (horizontal blue lines). Booting into safe mode everything is ok. I can change resolution but again botting normally artifacts appear and driver stops. I have already reflowed GPU. but there are a total of 16 VRam Chips. a little bit lazy to reball em.

What about heating v-ram and gpu and watch changes?
Does it work properly while in bios setup when heating gpu?

1-change power cap..
2-rework gpu

Nothing much you can do here, only try to heat up gpu(reflow) to see if that will help!
