Laptop was dead...I have changed kbc controller and bios chip and laptop now works ok, but when you click on shutdown it shuts down normaly but it starts again...
Basically it restarts itself normaly...When i put it in sleep mode...screen goes black normaly but it actually restarts itself,hard shutdown than start...
All signals on kbc looks normal to me...Any idea before messing with southbridge ???

Please check the revision number of the original EC chip and the one you've installed. Described symptoms can appear if the EC installed is of different revision. Recently, there have also been reports about counterfeit ECs with changed revision marking from China.

EC is taken from donor board...it`s exact same revision as original...i even changed it twice...same problem...

This board came originally with 1mb cfeon bios chip...no metter what dump i have put...i wouldn`t get video on screen...
i have replaced it with 2 mb winbond same speed (again from same donor board ) and put newest bios from hp support and it worked...
I don`t now if that can impact strange shutdown behavior...

newest bios 2 mb? it imposible. it must be ONLY 1mb. if you have't flash on 1mb you also may write in flash two dump on 1mb. make it in hex editot. just dublicate originan bios twice.

Very possible actually...model number cq56 150sm...you can check it yourself...2mb after decrypt... and i have fully working board aside with the same bios chip...

But this board is nightmare...It`s not worth but i`m kinda keen to fix it...
I have changed southbridge and laptop shuts down properly...so first problem fixed but after heating the board video driver stops responding and video freezes,resolutin is bad...i have found short on nb...
It`s for changing now...i`ll let you now the results...

That's indeed a hell of a board! Do you know what exactly led to such global failure?

After nb change laptop works as it should...
Had to change it twice,first donor was faulty...real torture...
Well i belive that nb from start was the issue...short in 1.05v line...
