Hi everyone, laptops powers on but for about 5secs and goes off and I found out that RUN voltages are not switching due to the absence of SUSP#. I found a rotten resistor around the PCH and would like to know the value..

you have to use boardview and schematic to determined the value

I think you should have made a comparison of the two motherboards before posting.. because they are in no way similar. LA-6841P is a Penryn processor and LA-6842P is Arrandale. LA-6842P boardview doesn't exist, so its just a matter of someone who has the motherboard reading the value of the resistor...

Eventually I found out the value which was 20k and all voltages appeared but still no display (after flashing bios), unfortunately laptop was returned..
