CPU and memory are tested, ec-bios and pch-bios reprogramed with tested dumps.
The power sequence is ok except step 12. (IMVP_PWRGD is not present due to +VGFX_CORE missing)
PLT_RST# (step 15) is reached, 3 volts are present, so power sequence seems to be ok.
There are no pulses PCH_SMB_CLK_3S and PCH_SMB_DAT_3S, both are high level. (same for PCH_SMB_CLK_3A/PCH_SMB_DAT_3A)
Debug card does not function on this board, so can't test debug codes.
Can someone help me to solve the problem?

this step will pass when CPU programm says that all powers good and after that you arrive +VGFX_CORE/ CPU says that all ok when will check multicontroller and south bridge. so last part must be changed/

It is difficult to say the revision number, it has no motherboard number like other HP.
The attached schematic seems to match perfectly.
I've attached also a photo from memory slots that says something about revision.

I think south bridge is the culprit, but i wanted to know other opinions before change it.
Do you think the power-up sequence is completed when PLT_RST# is high level?

Hi, some updated tests:



I have re-reprogramed bios with new dump from sp54776.exe. (extracted from this file)
There are tre versions inside this file, and I think the $BID03672 is valid for this this mobo. (its the same as the original one, but the serial number in original bios doesn't match the laptop serial number)

So next thing to do is check two other versions inside sp54776.exe ($BID03674 and $BID03676)



I have checked the behavior without pch-bios chip, and PLT_RST# is always at low level, and laptop starts and then stops and repeats as long it is connected.

Power (amps) consumption from 19v. are only 450 mA. (with bios chip)
