Hello there, i have here a GTX1070 with an error in memory power supply.
i have already testet the whole card - direct connect a external Powersupply that deliver 1,5V with 20A - and card works fine with it.
i have already swap the R33 coil, the dual N Mosfet and the PWM Controller also - withaut any change in error.
Controller is a default Founders memory controller, a 7J=3D (7J=xx) - with is a renamed RT8816A controller.
i have already checked near all things around the controller. No shorts in any capacitor, no shorts in Mosfet gates.
Measurements are:
PVCCC: 5V
EN: 1.8V
RTon: 550 kΩ against VIN (12V)
PSI: 0.8V
VREF: 2.0V
VRefIN: 1.52V
OCSET: 77kΩ
VID: 1.8V (no PWM)
Bootstrap C: 97nF
RGND: 0.2Ω against ground
VSNS: 33Ω against Ground or 0,2Ω against VOut (memory voltage after R33 coil)
i have also dissconect the OCSET/SS pin from external SoftStart resitor/capacitor, and it will only rise to 163mV, but in datasheet it should be rise to over 2V. so i think the controller is in error state directly after start.
Both gates from dual N mosfet is forcfully held low
so what can be happened here?
*edit* sorry with my old thread, i accidentally closed it
