Hi sorry I can't speak Russian. The PCIe 16x slot on my motherboard is not working. When I plug in a graphics card the fan spins but then turns off. There is no display on the monitor. What can I do to find the problem?

1st - you should write what CPU and GPU do you have.
2nd - Look carefully on motherboard near PCI-e slot and on the CPU socket, pins may be damaged. Left corner

Also you shoud try test another GPU, CPU in your MB and vice versa

I have QTJ2, I have tried Gigabyte GTX 1070 and MSI RTX 3070. These cards work in a different motherboard, so I know the card is not the problem.

I tried cleaning the pads under the CPU interposer, and now the graphics card fans will spin, however there is still no picture. PCIe slot is detected in Windows, but no graphics card is detected.



It seems like the motherboard chipset is okay, its seems that the signal that needs to tell the motherboard that a graphics card is installed is broken.

QTJ2 - bios mod must to be done! Or no video will be. Use 4.10 and CoffeTime

I did the bios mod with the following settings




Also version 4.30 BIOS shows 5.12 in CoffeeTime for some reason

I tried i5 7500 in the motherboard with modified BIOS.



Graphics card is working correctly. I guess there is another setting that needs to be changed for QTJ2

Use 4.10 and do PCIe Xeon in it to be green and all will be working. This is the last version which could support mod!

Next time write down all info in 1st post. Your problem is from nothing. Read manual carefully next time!
