Today I was working on this motherboard. Its doesnt start, doesnt turn on power supply, ...
Testing input voltages, STB was OK, Power Button with 3V, but nothing happen when pressed.
I checked BIOS and SIO voltages, came from Step Down Converter (PU6 - RT8250), but its has only 0,52V on its Vout.
Pins 1 and 3 was short-circuited. Change to a similar step-down 3A (MP2703), Vout changed to 1,52V, dont starting MB.
Removing the CAP on pin 3 out, get Vout to 3,34V, starting MB normally.
Go to another challenge....
